This album was originally released on Throwrug Records in Chicago May 4th, 1997. The track "Process of Attrition" also appeared in the film and is on the soundtrack to "Henry 2: Mask of Sanity" (follow-up to "Henry: Portrait of a Serial Killer"). The track "Strawberry Flan" also appeared on the 1997 Allied Recordings CD compilation "The Big FIx" that also featured tracks by Discount, J Church, Stink, Saint James Infirmary, My Life in Rain, and others. The record release party for this CD took place at Lounge Ax in Chicago on May 4, 1997 and also featured Sweep The Leg Johnny, Lustre King and Giants Chair on the bill.

This album features Michael Conroy (bass/vocals), Daniel Kiely (drums), Charan Ranganath (guitar/farfisa/vocals), Brent Ritzel (guitars/vocals). Mike wrote lyrics for and sung on "Gold Spot" and "Linda Lavin," and sung on "Dry Socket." Charan wrote lyrics for and sung on "The Process of Attrition," "Gold Spot," "Eigenvector," "You Became The Angry Chimes," and "Strawberry Flan," and also sung on "Reduviid Complex" and "Crack Blues." Brent wrote lyrics for and sung on "Reduviid Complex," "Crack Blues," "Gold Spot," "Eigenvector," and "Strawberry Flan," and also wrote the lyrics for "Dry Socket" with Jenn Solheim of the Smoothies. All tracks were recorded with Chuck Uchida at Attica Studios in Chicago during the summer of 1995 and Andy Gerber at Million Yen Studios in Chicago during the summer of 1996. All tracks were mastered by John Golden Mastering. Cover artwork is by Lance Laurie.
